This Privacy Policy explains how Cosmos ("Cosmos," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data when you use the website at try-cosmos.com and our related services (the "Service"). • Account and identity data. When you sign in through a third-party identity provider (e.g., Google), we receive basic profile information such as your name and email address.
• Polymarket profile information. The public Polymarket profile link you submit during onboarding, and the public information associated with it.
• Communications. Information you provide when you contact us, including the content of your messages.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Device and technical data. Including your IP address and a device identifier or fingerprint derived from your browser and device characteristics, which we use for security and fraud prevention.
• Usage and log data. Including pages viewed, actions taken, timestamps, referrer URLs, and approximate location inferred from your IP address.
• Cookies and similar technologies. As described in our Cookie Policy, including a referral cookie and session/authentication cookies.

2.3 Referral data

If you join through a referral link, or refer others, we process the referral relationship, referral codes, and the status of referred accounts in order to operate and protect the referral program.

• provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
• create and manage your account, including reviewing and approving onboarding;
• operate the referral program and determine the validity of referrals;

• measure and analyze usage so we can understand and enhance the Service; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

• Service providers. With vendors who process data on our behalf to host and operate the Service, such as our cloud database and authentication provider (e.g., Supabase) and our identity provider (e.g., Google), under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service and for the purposes described in this Policy, including to operate the referral program, maintain security and fraud records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it.

We and our service providers may process personal data in countries other than your own, which may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your data in connection with such transfers.
